Lead Graphic Designer: dedicated to strategic creativity and continuous growth. Over 10 years of experience in ad design, illustration, and content writing.
Born in Harbor City, Los Angeles CA., then venturing upwards, I grew up under the canopy of the giant redwoods on the "Lost Coast," where Alex Hersch likes to, "keep it weird." I think growing up surrounded by such beauty sparks something in people, and I am so grateful.
I've liked to draw and create since I could hold a pencil. As a digital-native, having grown up alongside the world wide web, I began teaching myself HTML and Photoshop when I was 14 years old. I began applying my skills to assist in promoting local events, usually for my school or local non-profits, and landed my first job as a graphic designer in 2013. Since then I have been the in-house lead designer for several local businesses. I was lucky enough to work in several places with their own print shops, and became fluent with large format printers and several finishing tools but I'm eager to learn about even more specialized printing such as packaging, vinyl, and trading card games. I'm also hoping to begin teaching myself motion graphics and animation soon.
It has been my pleasure to participate in various community events and charity fundraisers benefiting underprivileged youth such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of the North Coast’s Bowl for Kids Sake, where I have designed, created, and printed promotional packages and decorations for dozens of fun & fundraising events.
I graduated in 2023 and 2024 with triple degrees, with honors, and an invitation to join a national honor society. I deeply enjoy learning, and when I approach a topic it is with the goal of complete understanding. I thrive in educational settings and am skilled in coaching and guiding others. In my studies, I wanted to find a practical application for my art. Recognising the true heart of marketing is the combination of persuasive messaging and social psychology, I chose to work towards dual degrees in human behavioral sciences and communication. I am currently researching data analysis certificate programs. My goal is to foster meaningful connections between people and services that enrich their lives.
My passions in life include art, lifelong learning, travel & culture, and natural beauty.
